Hello my name is Tracey. I hold a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from University of Arkansas at Little Rock, as well as a Master's degree in Teaching from Southern Arkansas University. I have taught high school English, American Literature, British Literature and ACT Prep. I enjoy working with high school students and adults. My passion is helping scholars learn to make connections with the wisdom of literature, and communicate their knowledge through the written word. I am also the proud mom of two teenage sons, and two adopted daughters, and the wife of a funny and wonderful man named Christopher. Our family has lived in five different countries over the past twenty-two years, and have gleaned much from the cultures of Belize, Scotland, The Netherlands, and Thailand.
What makes me an excellent tutor is that I absolutely love doing it! Digging into a novel, poem, essay or writing assignment is as fun as anything in life to me:)! I could sit and talk about favorite books and authors over a cup of coffee all day long! I also enjoy sharing keys to standardized testing success that I have discovered through teaching ACT Prep, and studying for the Praxis exam.
