I used Casey for ACT Compass in math portion. She was very helpful. I was delighted when my score in math went up dramatically -- my first test score for math section was 24 before I meet Casey, and when I retook test after she tutoring me, I ended up with a 41!! She is so sweet, kind, and very patient. Thanks again, Casey!
Casey met with me and my daughter for a lesson to help with her math homework. She was easy to reach and schedule. She asked in advance so she can prepare for the lesson. She was patient and took time to explain. She even taught us some sign language phrases and words that my daughter enjoyed.
Casey is willing to figure out what your child needs to learn. She will take the time to review assignments before she meets with you. A positive attitude, when algebra is hard for your child. Thank you, Casey
Casey gets back with you in a timely manner, and is very efficient with her work. She's also very kind person.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
American Sign Language (ASL) is my first language. I have been using ASL since I was 4 years old, and didn't learn to speak English until I was 7 years old. I have an associates degree in American Sign Language Studies from University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I have been teaching basic ASL to toddlers at child care where I work. I also have been teaching my 3rd Grade Sunday School class ASL in bible verses.
