I am a professor of Computer Science. My background is in Integrated Computing (Ph.D.), Telecommunication (Master), Electrical Engineering (Bachelor), Project Management (Certificate), and Quality Management (Certificate).

As a professor, I have access to a wide selection of online resources and teaching material.

My experience includes 8 years teaching and more than 15 years tutoring of various types of students, i.e. traditional full-time students, part-time students, adult learners, online learners, at university, high school, middle school, and elementary school. In these varying settings, I developed skills and teaching styles to accommodate an audience that varies in age, professional background, preexisting knowledge, and expectations.

College Counseling

Sometimes, college life can be overwhelming. Here you are, wanting to do what it takes to successfully go through school, but there are many choices, i.e. which track, which major, which minor to choose, which courses to take etc. And there is balancing of school life and private life. Making all these decisions, may be for the first time, by yourself can be stressful.

Differential Equations are an integral part of higher math. They are often used in engineering and science. Discrete Math

DOS

Good old times. When I bought my first computer, Windows operating system did not exist. Command-line entries into a screen with a black background. In your Windows computer type "WindowsKey + R" and in the "Run" box that appears type "cmd" and press "Enter". The black window that opens is what working on DOS was. Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering is a wide topic. It has concentrations such as "Power Systems", "Microelectronics", "Telecommunication" and more. JavaScript

One of the popular scripting languages for web development. It is a client-side script supported by all major browsers. I have taught programming for several semesters. Linux

It's free and it's good. While years ago you had to be a computer geek not to loose your mind when attempting to work with Linux, meanwhile it has grown to be a viable alternative to paid operating systems. Also used by scientist because the source code is accessible. This means, you can modify and recompile the kernel to test or customize the operating system. Logic

Logic is useful for everybody. Since we all have to make hundreds of decisions every day, why not learn the methodologies to make wise decisions? Logic helps with critical thinking reasoning, overcoming close-mindedness, math, languages, analytic thinking etc. It just improves life as a whole. Microsoft Project

A Microsoft software that is not included in the MS Office suite. It is immensely helpful and easy to use when you work in Project Management. I started using it when taking the Certified Project Manager course. Microsoft Publisher

While often thought as being limited to print media, Desktop Publishing skills can be used for electronic media as well. Microsoft Publisher can be used to create magazines, books, restaurant menus, as well as e-books, PDF documents, and web pages. I was born in Turkey and Turkish was the first language I learned. Born in Turkey and raised in Germany, I grew up bilingual. For years, I have been doing translations between the languages Turkish, German, and English.
Back in Germany, I taught evening classes to young and adult learners. There were two classes, one for beginners and one for intermediate level. I started teaching when the Internet was not as wide-spread as it is today. Hence, those courses were face-to-face type of instruction. I also tutored and instructed students in a one-on-one instruction setting. Meanwhile using the communication possibilities that the Internet offers, even distance learning is possible.
