About Kelly

Bio

I love tutoring. I tutored throughout my undergraduate program and part time during my career. I currently work at UAMS where I do clinical research in multiple myeloma. I was fortunate to have mentors who took the time and energy to help me through my education, and now I feel it is my duty and privilege to do the same for young minds.

Music History

I studied music since I was a child. When I went to college I studied music fundamentals, survey of western classical music, opera, and jazz. Now I really only listen to classical music and opera. Also reading biographies of th composers, historical context of the pieces, and the more compositional aspects of the works. I am on the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Guild and am helping in the new Opera in the Rock's production.

Reviews

very patient, clear explanations

My daughter felt very comfortable with Kelly and I liked that she challenged my daughter to think about the math and chemistry problems discussed. Kelly explained everything clearly and it helped me also understand the work, so that I can assist my daughter in between tutoring sessions.
