Bio

I have a passion for helping others in all aspects of their lives. I am a nationally certified Emergency Medical Technician. I am the Vice President of a non-profit youth and young adult ministry. I have also served as a Youth and Family Ministry Intern and worked as a Lead Instructor at Mathnasium of Edmond, Oklahoma.

I really enjoy teaching and watching others learn, and have extensive knowledge in a variety of subjects. I have been told that my teaching style is easily understandable...

I really enjoy teaching and watching others learn, and have extensive knowledge in a variety of subjects. I have been told that my teaching style is easily understandable because I focus on helping the student to understand the concepts so that they can understand "how" and "why" and not just telling them "what."

I have experience as Lead Instructor at Mathnasium of Edmond, Oklahoma, where I worked with Kindergartners through 12th graders. My experience at Mathnasium includes math subjects through Calculus 1. I love math, especially when I can help others to understand and find pleasure in it.

I have experience tutoring in Algebra through Calculus. In high school, I took the AP Calculus AB Exam, on which I made a 5 out of 5.

I enjoy writing, proofreading and editing. I seem to have an eye for mistakes, which really helps with proofreading. I love words and I have a special feeling when sentences are phrased perfectly. I have always loved to read and was ahead of my peers in reading and spelling. I received a passing score on the AP English Language and Composition Exam.

I was a student at Oklahoma Christian University, where I studied Preaching Ministry for two years. I have led numerous Bible studies and have experience teaching Bible classes at Church in addition to writing about spiritually-based topics on my blog.

American History is my favorite history subject. In high school, I took the AP US History Exam and made a 5 out of 5.

Luke is a geat tutor. He is willing to work with you and also great at making sure you understand rather than just getting your money and going to the next problem. He is more concerned about you getting great results out of the tutoring session other than just thinking about homself of what he can get out of it. I came to Luke having very little knowledge of word problems and because of Luke I have more knowledge and know more about working word problems! Luke wants you to get the maximum reaults possible to help you increase in knowledge. He is Awsome.

Luke has helped my son with improving his ACT Score in Math. My son's ACT Math score over the last two ACT tests has increased from a 21 to a 27. Luke also tutors him with his Math class as school.
