University of Fort Smith-Arkansas (English)
Hello! My name is Christy N. I am currently a student at the University of Arkansas in Fort Smith majoring in English and minoring in Creative Writing. My current cumulative GPA is 3.32 and have been on the Dean's List for the past three semesters.
I love all things English, Literature, and Writing! I began my college career as a Biology student hoping to enter the medical field but found my passion for English in an American Literature class learning about Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald. I had a wonderfully energetic and exciting professor who let me know, probably for the first time in my life, my intelligence and potential in the field of English and Writing. Since then it has been my philosophy to pay it forward, to learn and to pass on what I have learned with my fellow students and friends.
In past semesters fellow students have always come to me for help and advice or nominate me as group leader. I enjoy being creative, learning, and helping the people around me. I am very outgoing and open-minded, happy to help in any and all ways possible.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
