University of Central Arkansas (Enrolled)
I am currently completing my first year of the occupational therapy masters program at the University of Central Arkansas.
I am a helper by nature, and enjoy seeing people make progress toward achieving their goals. I want to help make learning fun by giving students the just-right challenge to keep them from being overwhelmed or bored.
I completed all high school math courses up to calculus, and completed college algebra with an A. I also received a 28 on the math portion of the ACT.
I completed an undergraduate degree in psychology. I also successfully completed the pre-requisite courses for the occupational therapy program. I have completed graduate level anatomy and physiology courses as well.
I received a 36 on both the English and Reading portions of the ACT for a composite score of 32. I was the president of a National Honor Society at UCA where I gained public speaking experience.
I completed an undergraduate program, and received above average scores on the GRE. My GRE scores allowed me to enter the highly competitive occupational therapy program at UCA.
I have successfully tutored at the Faulkner County Boys and Girls Club at the elementary level.
I have a bachelor's degree in psychology, and am working on a master's in occupational therapy. I have close relatives with autism and Down's syndrome. I have completed fieldwork at a preschool for children with developmental disabilities, and I have volunteered with multiple organizations catering to special needs populations.
I worked as a Social Media Manager at UCA where I utilized Photoshop. I also completed an undergraduate creative thesis which combined the disciplines of art (oil painting) and psychology.
I use computers on a regular basis for school, work, and my personal life.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
