About Angie

Bio

I have worked as a substitute teacher in the public school system for one year. I have worked as a paraprofessional, a one-on-one aid, and as an instructor in a local preschool for the past 2.5 years. My current classroom is based on the Easter Seals STAR program for students diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum. As the instructor of this classroom I focus on language skills, cognitive skills, and functional routine.

I have worked with students diagnosed with Autism for the past two years. I was a one-on-one aid for one student who was nonverbal. I worked with him and he currently is very verbal and is able to function in a classroom setting. Also, my classroom is for students with ASD. I have had 30 hours of training in the Star program through Easter Seals.
