I’m Macy! I am a current high school senior at the top of my class. I have been a tutor for the last 4 years. The majority of tutoring that I do is in mathematics, but I am also knowledgeable in other subjects, such as history, science, and Spanish. I love tutoring because it gives me an opportunity to help students improve their grades and their confidence. My hope is to maybe even teach them to love learning! I am an extremely hardworking, dedicated, and detail-oriented individual, which comes in handy for tutoring because I make sure to stay on task and accomplish all that my students want to accomplish during our time together. I consider myself to be a positive and uplifting person; I know how easy it can be to get down on yourself when you're trying to learn complicated topics, so I'm here to remind you of your incredible potential.

My freshman and junior years of high school I was named the Math student of the year. I have taken and passed the AP exam for Calculus AB and am currently taking AP Calculus BC, with a high A in the class. I have also taken and passed the AP Biology exam and am currently taking AP Chemistry, with a high A in the class. My experience in these difficult courses has taught me that effort and perseverance can lead to really positive outcomes, which is something I try to impart on all of the students I tutor.
