Initially I helped others in my own classes because I felt as though it was the right thing to do. Now, I enjoy encouraging others to progress their studies and take their future in their own hands by seeking out help when needed. In the past 6 years I have had extensive training in advanced mathematics and economics and throughout all of that training I have remained grounded to the essentials through tutoring experience. When I help others I consider it an opportunity to revisit those essential elements of mathematics and therefore provide an engaging and discovery-like attitude towards the subject.
As a PhD in Economics candidate I excel at relating complex economic concepts to students through my own teaching experience and can do so with enjoyment as this subject is my passion. Where mathematics is a tool, economics is a an opportunity to put those tools to use and I love helping others figure out which tools work best for which jobs.
