Allannah was great and helped me build a solid understanding of the basics. She also helped me plan ahead on how to tackle the difficult nature of the class so that I can be successful. Wonderful tutor!
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I achieved the highest score in my MBA class in Quantitative Analysis, 100%. In addition, I have worked in the Finance industry for 20 years with an emphasis on in-class case work of large corporations and governmental agencies.
In the field, I have worked with large corporations and small businesses on their financial statements, prospectus for funding, financial projections, and operational strategies. A focus has been on their profit and loss as well as tax implications of major equipment and building acquisitions. I find it very satisfying to assist companies in their growth and preparation for the unknown economics of their industry.
Personally, I am a self-directed , driven professional aspiring to instill in students the drive to succeed and excel both in the classroom and in the corporate world.
