About Gordon

I can tutor students to increase their writing skills. This will help in all aspects of their education. I have an English degree, a Language Arts degree, and a JD law degree. All these degrees required extensive reading and writing skills. I also have educational experience with my Language Arts degree which came through the University of Alabama School of Education.

Part of my coursework included 2 years of creative writing. I can teach a student writing tips and skills to generate interesting works of fiction and how to develop characters.

I also have a good knowledge of history and can tutor well in social studies. I have been a musician for many years and can play a variety of instruments. I can relate to a student of any age through their interest in music.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
