While other questions, the child must use what they have read and prior knowledge to answer the question. In the 2013-2014, I had 96 % of my students meet the standards for Reading as measured by the standardized test. In the following years, 90% of my students have made gains in their reading skills as measured by formal assessment. The last two years, The GA Milestones has been the standardized test. The first two years have been a no harms year which means it does not count for or against a child's academic success.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
