Caring and a lot effort!
Gary was very helpful and extremely beneficial to me. He did all of the problems before we got on the meeting and I could tell he put in a lot of time in order to ensure I was able to learn. He was kind and respectful. He uses a whiteboard in front of the camera to write down the problems which made it easy to follow. He was very helpful and I would definitely recommend him to anyone! I will be using him again in the future! Gary helped me with my university finite mathematics course, specifically minimizing and maximizing objective functions. He was very educated on this topic!

Very thorough
Gary helped me with some problems I was having in my discrete math course. I messaged him the day before and he asked me for some additional materials to make sure he understood exactly what was being asked from my assignment and to see the format my professor wanted it in. The lesson started with some basics to make sure we were on the same page, which I really appreciated because it's always good to review. We then moved on to the homework problems that were giving me trouble. I appreciated Gary's patience and willingness to go back and explain steps that I didn't understand. Despite it being a virtual lesson, it felt more in-person than I expected. Gary has a couple whiteboards that he works on that make it feel like a real classroom experience. In addition to his ability to teach, Gary is also very personable. I will likely use him again sometime this term.
