In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

ADHD

Given my experience and credentials, I believe that I am suited to the position as tutor for student diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. I have worked with student with ADD/ADHD for more than 10 years. I am a Certified Special Education Teacher. I have a US Masters equivalency in Special Education.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

I work as ABA therapist in Washington DC and MD areas. I handle kids with Autism both verbal and non-verbal. I am certified Special Education Teacher in AL and Washington, DC.

Dyslexia

I teach Reading Language Arts in DC and MD where I am certified across different disability in Special Education K-12. I am also certified in the State of Alabama.
