After graduating top of my class from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, I began my engineering career in 2001. Throughout this journey I have been fortunate to learn from and work with some truly brilliant people which has served me well as I have excelled and been recognized within my industry as one of its rising leaders. One key lesson my career in tech has taught me has been, "When faced with opposition or difficulty, do not quit but find the help and expertise you need and when you breakthrough, help someone else". This lesson led me to adopt the following learning philosophy... "If I really understand something, I should be able to teach it to someone else".

I have a strong tutoring/mentoring/teaching background as I have served others in this capacity over 17 years. I teach Sunday School at my church each week and have had the pleasure of teaching students from ages 5 to 65 years old. You will find that I am patient, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and have a knack for keying in on the gaps in a person's understanding. I hope that you will find my service to you not only beneficial but I also aim to be an advocate for your continued success along your academic journey.

Elementary Math

Math has been one subject that I have always enjoyed. Throughout elementary, middle school, high school, and college I have always excelled in math. I graduated at the top of my Engineering class and I have over 15 years of technical engineering experience. In 2014, I was awarded the BEYA (Black Engineer of the Year Award) Modern Day Technology Leader by my employer.

I am an engineer who, along with my wife, currently homeschool our two young sons. We have been homeschooling our kids for over 5 years and have seen great progress in their development. We understand the importance of providing our children with the best possible help and would like to share the lessons, techniques, and encouragement we have to offer those that would like some assistance with educating their children.
Reading,

Reading

Reading has always been a major part of my life and though I have a technical background, I believe the foundation of all learning is reading. I am a patient instructor (with 2 young boys of my own) and have over 15 years of experience mentoring and teaching young people. In 2007, I was voted Volunteer of Year by the Holmes Tuttle Boys & Girls Club in Tucson, AZ

Patient and knowledgeable Chemistry tutor

Sean taught my grandson how to solve stoichiometry calculations. He was very patient and concluded the session asking if he had answered all Jaylen's questions and advised that the information was being recorded and available for future review.
