I have been teaching for over fourteen years, the first ten at the postsecondary level. I love learning and sharing subject content along with life stories from my careers and travels. I have practiced Architecture and Building Science and lived in many different countries. I have four grandchildren in school now and really get a kick out of helping them with their studies.
I currently teach Building Construction Technology where my students get a great mix of classroom theory and hands on lab work in "real world" project situations. My goal is that everyone can learn and grow everyday. I would love to help you with your classwork and getting to know you as a student learner as well.
I have a degree in architecture and have done quite a bit of land surveying/civil engineering, so I can help with applied mathematical problems.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
