I have been studying History and American government for more than fifteen years. I obtained an Associate, Bachelor, and Master's degree along the way. I taught, as a substitute teacher, for the Gadsden City School system. I am a United States Army Reserve veteran and currently working on obtaining a PhD in History. My concentrations are in American, Caribbean, African-American, European, Latin-American History and Geography. Contact me for further inquiries.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

CHESS! "The Game of Kings." I have been playing chess for over 15 years now and my heart still pounds when I play. I have an ELO rating of 1500 and I am an active member of the Gadsden Chess Club, which is now part of the US Chess Federation. I am no grand master but I will guarantee that your game will improve with my help. I have a tournament style chess set so you won't have to worry about having one. I will show you different openings, improve your middle game, and introduce strategies that will improve your end game.

Track and Field has always been a love of mine. In high school, I ran track and field for four years, from 1988 to 1991. My most notable events were the 100 meter sprint, which I placed 2nd in the Alabama State finals 4A, and 3rd in the 200 meter sprint. I also have experience in the long jump and various relay events. In addition, I have tutored students at my old high school to improve on their various track events, and I can do the same for you.
One million! This is an estimate of the number of words in the English language. The average High School graduate know about 45,000,000 of them. That is just a fraction of what one can learn. I will be able to help expand ones vocabulary so one will be able to effectively express onesself in a clear and concise manner. It will be easy and fun at the same time.
