About Kim

Bio

Hi! I have over twenty five years of experience working with students from the elementary to the college level. As a teacher, I have worked with all levels of students from At-Risk students to Advanced students. Currently I am teaching mathematics to high school students. My past experience includes being a school counselor, administrator, and college campus director. I chose to return to the classroom because working with students is my first passion. So many students have math...

Hi! I have over twenty five years of experience working with students from the elementary to the college level. As a teacher, I have worked with all levels of students from At-Risk students to Advanced students. Currently I am teaching mathematics to high school students. My past experience includes being a school counselor, administrator, and college campus director. I chose to return to the classroom because working with students is my first passion. So many students have math "phobia" and my goal is to present the material in a way that addresses each student's learning style thus helping students see success.

Kim is an awesome tutor!

I met with Kim for a refresher in Algebra so that I could increase my test scores on my college entry exam. After being out of the classroom for 18 years, I had forgotten a few things. Kim exceeded my expectations on how much material we could cover and how much I could learn in one session. She is definitely a gifted teacher, and I plan to call upon her in the future not only for my own tutoring needs, but also for my 13 year old son. I cannot say enough great things about her!

Kim is an Amazing Math and SAT Tutor. She tutored my sister for the SAT. She is very patient which is a must when dealing my sister and her learning style. She gave detailed problem solving strategies that really boosted her competence level when she took the test. Kim goes through all math problems step by step with you until you master the concept. The study strategies she gives to help you improve your SAT score is invaluable. Kim's enthusiasm made learning and understanding the material easier for her.
