I also minored in Asian Studies, and I received a Distinction in Leadership Studies. One of the motivating factors in my choosing to major in History was the amazing faculty at my college. I got to be a part of a tutoring program at my college for middle schoolers in the area around the college, so I am not a novice when it comes to tutoring. I also am very active in my church, and I have many opportunities to preach and teach to a variety of ages. In other words, if you are looking for a tutor who can communicate in an exciting and effective way, I am your guy!
My approach to tutoring is pretty simple:
1. Meet the student and assess the student's needs.
2. Develop a lesson plan/strategy to meet the student's needs.
3. Execute the lesson plan/strategy through tutoring sessions!

I have written numerous papers ranging from book reports to research papers of various lengths, and I was also the Editor-in-Chief for a campus publication. I can guide students in their writing process including brainstorming topics, thesis formation, forming paragraphs, etc. I can also provide one-time or consistent feedback on papers/drafts for grammar and composition if you would like that service. I am primarily familiar with the Chicago/Turabian style, but I know about MLA and APA as well.
I was privileged to take a wide range of classes in the history discipline, s
