Hi Students!
I trust this will provide you with enough information about me to create a sense of comfort with me and confidence in my ability to help you become an improved writer, sharpen your grammar skills and become successful in the other areas in which we work together. You will find me to be a pleasant, patient and committed tutor who will assist you to a higher level of achievement and success. You will be my focus during our time of instruction as I will seek to teach to your particular learning style.

My teaching experience includes elementary, middle, high school, undergraduate and graduate levels. I have taught special needs students, secondary social studies, English to students needing special assistance, criminal justice, government and students in a State of Alabama approved high school graduation preparation program (tutoring). One of my favorite experiences was serving as a "Graduation Coach" or "Dropout Prevention Adviser" where students' success was measurable. Otherwise, many of these students would not have likely graduated from high school.

I have had a love for writing since the eleventh grade where I was exposed to a truly exceptional English teacher. She prepared me to become a better writer throughout college and beyond. I have a very good grasp of proper grammar and continue to expand with excitement to expand my vocabulary. I have conducted research, analyzed data, written and had publish many articles or opinion essays in Alabama's largest daily news outlets. Most recently I wrote a piece which was published online in political opinions and commentaries. I have also publish in dozens of national professional journals and magazines.
Perhaps I possess the unique skill/talent to teach Biblical studies. I endeavor to communicate Biblical stories and truths in a manner which is both interesting and easy to understand. I have been a student of the Bible for most of my life and love to share the Word to youth.
