I excelled as a student in high school, earning national accolades such as National Merit Finalist and National AP Scholar. I also scored in the 99th percentile on both the ACT and SAT. My success opened up many doors for college. Every university I applied to accepted me, including MIT, the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Chicago, and the United States Military Academy among others. I decided to attend the University of Minnesota on a full-ride scholarship. I went on to excel in college as well, where I studied communication studies, Greek, and business management. I graduated from the University Honors Program summa cum laude. During my time as a student, I worked as a teaching assistant for multiple years. It was during this time I developed a newfound passion for teaching and education.

After college, I continued to work with students in test prep and tutoring. I worked for multiple years with both Breakaway Test Prep and Jamie Dickenson, LLC, the premier test prep providers in Minnesota and West Virginia respectively. In 2017, I moved to Birmingham, AL and started a test prep and tutoring company called Magic City Test Prep. I have worked with hundreds of students and consider it a privilege to serve each individual who chooses to work with me. I am currently finishing my second master’s degree at Samford University. I love football, traveling, and good food. I am available for ACT/SAT test prep as well as tutoring in other subjects. I look forward to working with you and helping you to achieve all your academic goals! Contact me today and let's get started!

Very knowledgeable

Studied for the ACT, I tutored a few times with Luke before taking the ACT the second time. I took it the first time without studying. My score increased by 2 points after just a few tutor sessions. I tutored with Luke multiple times over the last two weeks and believe my ACT score will increase 2 to 3 points this time. I will work with Luke for future tutoring.
