I teach movie scriptwriting at a local college. I attended film school. I've been active with the Sidewalk Film Festival in Birmingham and the Urban Media Makers film in Atlanta. I won an award for Best Music Video in 2008. The projects I've worked on include an internship at BET, WTTO Channel 21, VH-1's "Making the Band," TV One's "Who Got Jokes" hosted by Bill Bellamy, the Rosa Parks Story staring Angela Bassett, the Country Music Channel's "Celebrity Motor Homes", Fox's Speed Network's "Fast Track to Fame" and most notably Chris Rock's "Good Hair." I did a brief stint at WBRC Fox 6's newsroom. I've worked with Robin Givens. I've done work as a voice actor for a radio drama "Staying Well in Camberwell." I was an extra in "42: The Jackie Robinson Story" and a commercial for Congresswoman Terri Sewell.
I edit on Final Cut Pro and have used older versions of Premiere Pro. I recently learned Photoshop and InDesign.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
