I am a medical doctor with extensive knowledge and ability involving teaching/tutoring anatomy and physiology. I retired from the practice of medicine about ten years ago to enter the field of substance abuse recovery treatment. I have worked at an alcoholism and substance abuse residential treatment center for the last four years. I am the Director of the Learning Center there and I teach and tutor all of our clients in writing skills and mathematics. I am the GED instructor and have had excellent success in preparing students to take the GED. Ninety percent of my students pass the GED on their first examination.

I found a wonderful tutor. As a Latin native speaker this is the best experience I have had with any English professor. We are covering reading, writing, conversation and pronunciations as well. Mr. Edward P. is very patient, professional and knowledgeable, so I very recommend to anyone who wants to improve their English reading, writing and conversation skill.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
