Hello, my name is Alicia. I have a B.S. degree in Business Administration and a Masters degree in Business Administration. With that being stated, I have experience in financial, legal services, and education industries. My education experience consists of 10 years plus from teaching elementary to adult students. I also have experience with tutoring; I actually tutored on Wyzant's platform a few years ago. In addition, I have tutored students outside of Wyzant who needed help with all subjects; however math just happens to be my favorite subject. I have a great passion to help others and achieve academic goals.
Throughout the years, I mostly taught mathematics such as Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Algebra with Trigonometry. I have tutored in those subjects as well. I truly enjoy teaching and tutoring math; and am very confident in that subject. My tutoring expertise have allow students to increase their confidence, knowledge, and grades. I believe with me as your tutor, these attributes with be evident in your experience as well.
Overall, I adore and appreciate the teaching industry and the educators who spend time and effort making our students successful. I believe with these unpredictable times; such as the pandemic tutors are very necessary and a great asset, especially with numerous of remote learning taking place throughout the country. I would like to contribute to the learning curve and help bridge the gap between parents, students, and educators if possible. I believe your child or yourself will not be disappointed with my skills, experience, and passion for learning.
