Hello everyone! My name is Liz W. and I am a college graduate near Auburn AL. My major is Animal Science-Pre Vet with a minor in Chemistry. Sciences, specifically biology, human anatomy and physiology, and chemistry, are my passions and I would love to spend my time helping others to learn and understand my favorite subjects. It makes me so happy to watch the "light bulb come on" in a student when a difficult subject or concept suddenly becomes clear and understood.

I have been a tutor for almost 4 years. I tutored high school biology and chemistry to underclassmen while I was a senior in high school and I tutored a few friends of mine during my first year of college. When I think about tutoring and teaching, I see it as my job to not only help students get the grade but to help them more deeply understand the concepts of the subject to make it easier for them to build on those concepts in the future.

I have taken multiple college-level biology and chemistry classes and have recently become certified in the state of Alabama to teach biological sciences at the middle and high school level. These sciences are my favorite subjects and I will make it my ultimate goal to make the material easy to understand, and I will explain it in as many ways as needed to help a student.

I would love to help you to really learn the material that needs to be learned and understand it down to the core. I am very upbeat and not only will I help you to retain the material, but I will also do my best to make it as fun as possible so it doesn't feel like studying.
