I enjoy breaking complex subjects into understandable parts for my students, as well as finding ways to make the learning process engaging and creative! I try to think outside of the box when explaining concepts and by creating fun activities for my students. While in school, I worked at a university admissions office, and worked frequently with high school students in the midst of their college application processes. I gained a comprehensive knowledge of the college search process and am happy to share this and college prep/study skills with high school students.
I currently work at environmental nongovernmental organization in DC and I love hiking and being outdoors. I am a recent graduate from Boston University in Massachusetts. In school, I studied International Relations and Public Relations. I come from an education-loving family; both of my parents are teachers! I prefer to tutor in either DC or the Arlington, VA/Crystal City area, and would gladly tutor online as well!
