Jones School of Law (J.D.)
Sacred Heart University (candidate) (Master's)
I recently completed Doctor of Laws and have considerable experience with the LSAT and Bar Exam prep. As evidence of my aptitude for the foregoing subject, as well as academic writing in general, my Law School's dean, a graduate of Yale Law, recently asserted that "Paul is one of the most brilliant legal minds I have ever encountered." Beyond law, my GRE verbal score was among the top 10% of Harvard's ACCEPTED graduate school (education) applicants. Further, in my effort to complete a Masters of Science in Applied Psychology, I wrote a groundbreaking paper on the Alaska Suicide Epidemic, which received accolades from one of the world's foremost experts on the subject.
Yet I have not always been so academically inclined. Indeed, once a high school dropout, I was required to take the GED before entering college. This lack of confidence is often attributed to a negative teacher expectancy effect suffered early in the child's academic experience. Thus, by expecting the most, as well as best, the child's fullest potential will be realized.
Please contact me to learn of my availability to assist with your child's academic needs. As evidenced by all of my varied academic pursuits, I promise to give your child my absolute best. In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
