We are waiting on our AP scores, but my son felt confident and much more prepared. Preston has a way of helping to synthesize vast amounts of information and draw his student into active learning with him. Tests are important, and our son would not have the GPA in his course that he now has without Preston's guidance, but what he truly gained was an enthusiasm and care for the past and how it impacts the world he is now living and participating in. Look no further for your history tutor.
He is extremely prepared when he arrives to tutor a session with materials, power points, and maps. I can tell he puts alot of effort in preparing for his teachings. Along with this my daughter really enjoys his style of tutoring, she says its not intimidating and feels he's telling a story about the history and so she's able to understand him. I enjoy hearing him as well, he makes it very interesting.
In addition to this, and of utmost importance - she knows how to teach! She is not only charming, she is thorough in her explanations, delivers it in a clear direct manner with concise communication, seems to warm up to anyone she encounters, has a great deal of enthusiasm which is inspiring, can get down to basics very quickly, assesses the situation, is fair in her rate structure, doesn't waste a second of time and we are extremely pleased. She interacts to create a fun learning environment.
