Janet was very effective at helping my daughter raise her reading level by teaching her to not just read to read but to read to understand,infer where appropriate, and help the student to open up their mind to see what is really involved with the whole story or content, even non fiction. This comes easily to some students but when a child struggles with this Janet does an excellent job of connecting with them and also holds them accountable for doing their best.
