In addition, Nathalie regularly asks me what areas of French culture I want to learn about, and then searches for appropriate, up-to-date articles, which she either brings to the lesson or sends me in advance. This is wonderful, because I am not only learning French, but also learning about things that interest me, and developing the vocabulary to talk about them in French! Nathalie also has provided me with countless internet sources for reading and listening to French on my own.
Once I fell behind in my 2nd semester French class I contacted a native French tutor who wasn’t able to help me to the level required. After extensively researching the available French tutors on WyzAnt I choose Geraldine and it was the best decision I have ever made a French student. Geraldine is a true professional tutor who is also a hard working genuine person. She caters to my level of French and learning style and has copious patience.

She had French from 2-4th grade, then Mandarin for 5th and 6th. She was transferring to a school that did not offer Mandarin and she decided to go back to French since she had enjoyed it before. My daughter has an ear for language; however, I thought that she would potentially be a year behind in middle school French since she had not had French in 2 years, and it was important to us that she enter the 7th grade going into 7th grade French. We set up a tutoring session with James.
