She somehow had the ability to turn me from a nervous wreck to a confident test taker. She goes above and beyond, sending me encouraging emails and links for test anxiety meditation since she recognized how important that was for me (both which I found extremely helpful). She truly is specific in her help for each student and finds methods specific that work for each student. She helped me pick a test date which alleviated a lot of my anxiety knowing I picking a date based off her expertise.

My biggest NCLEX challenge was testing anxiety. After failing the first time with 108 question I knew I needed someone to guide me. Dr. K was the answer for me. She gave me study advice and reviewed questions with me. She sent me excellent information about strategies for testing anxiety, but most importantly she helped me become more confident in my abilities. I needed to learn ways to trust myself and not let my anxiety take control, Dr. K was always patient, kind and full of advice.

I have just finished my work with Cyndi to help lessen my anxiety around public speaking and I am so happy I chose her to help me in this project. Cyndi had a unique approach in first understanding me as a person and what factors were adding to my anxiety around performance issues. Then she incorporated relaxation techniques and cognitive behavior principles to help give me the tools to minimize my worry around public speaking and sport performance.
