Hi! My name is Seth and I love tutoring! I am currently a graduate student in economics and will be completing my Ph.D. this June. When I'm not in class or working on my dissertation, I enjoy helping students at all levels master courses in mathematics, economics, statistics, and finance.
I am qualified to tutor a range of math courses, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus. My specialty in economics is macroeconomics (my dissertation is in this area!), but I am equally well-versed in microeconomic analysis. I am also qualified to tutor basic statistics at both the high school and college levels (I use statistical analysis quite a bit in my economic research!). Last, but certainly not least, my finance experience is top-notch; I have taught my own courses in corporate finance at the undergraduate level and have worked as a teaching assistant on multiple occasions for courses in portfolio theory and investment analysis.
I have over 6 years of experience working as a private tutor for Jr. High School, High School, and College aged students. I am passionate about teaching and would love to help you achieve your goals in the classroom!
