I am available to tutor in Math, Physics, and Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, interested in helping those students who occasionally have difficulties or just want a competitive edge over their classmates. To be sure, schoolwork and standardized tests can sometimes be a daunting prospect! However, I pride myself on being both a knowledgeable and effective communicator in subjects that I excel in. More often than not, a student already has all of the tools they need to succeed in a given area, but they just need the right teacher to show them how to "connect the dots." I strive to be that person for others in the same way that they have been for me when I was looking for help not too long ago. :-)
I am very good with Prealgebra, Algebra I-II, Calculus I-III and AP, AP Physics (classical mechanics and electromagnetism), fluid mechanics, heat transfer, aerodynamics, thermodynamics and several other fields related to Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering. I graduated from Purdue University in 2008 with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and have completed graduate coursework experience at The Ohio State University as well. Math and physics really are my passion. I love to teach, and I am very good at explaining complex topics. I have tutored in the past and look forward to continuing in the future. Please drop me a line if you are looking for some help.

Bryson has been tutoring my son in AP physics. I have found him to be very knowledgeable. My son recently received his first "A" on a chapter exam. I highly recommend Bryson.
Bryson was very helpful assisting my son with his math class. He passed with a B. I would recommend him for any high school student that needs help in math.
Bryson is teaching me what the professor of my Calculus II class is not teaching. I am now better able to understand what is being taught in class. Since my next math class is Calculus III, this is paramount. He's very patient and is able to break down complicated formulas in various ways making them easier to understand.
Mr. Bryson is very knowledgeable and passionate about physics. He can explain abstract concepts in simple terms. His help made a big difference.
In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
I obtained a BSME from Purdue University and have also completed some graduate school. Algebra is absolutely fundamental to many aspects of my academic and professional careers, and I am very confident in my abilities to tutor this subject at the high school level.
I obtained a BSME from Purdue University and have also completed some graduate school. Algebra is absolutely fundaental to many aspects of my academic and professional carrers, and I am very confident in my abilities to tutor this subject at the high school level. Equations and inequalities, Linear Equations and Linear Systems, Trigonometric Functions and Identities, Rational Functions, Polynomials, Sequences and Series, and Matricies are all subjects which I am proficient in and enjoy teaching.
I scored a 5 on the AP Calculus exam and use fundamental concepts of integral and differential calculus regularly. Limits, proper and improper integrals, multivariate calculus, vector calculus, and (some) tensor calculus are subjects in which I have experience and skill. Integration by parts, U-substitution, trigonometric substitutions, and calculus of variations are also subjects with which I am very familiar.
I obtained a BSME from Purdue University and have also completed some graduate school. I have taken undergraduate and graduate coursework on ordinary and partial differential equations in scalar, vector, and tensor form. I recently completed a course in non-linear dynamics and chaos with application to biological systems.
Geometry is an integral component to Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, and I use the subject on a daily basis in performing basic job functions. In addition to classical Euclidean geometry, I have some experience with Hyperbolic and Elliptic geometry as well.
In terms of linear algebra, my primary experience comes from working with finite-element packages like NASTRAN and ANSYS FEA as well as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) codes. The numerical implementation of a system governed by differential equations always takes the form of a vector equation. Linear Algebra is used extensively to manipulate and solve these equations, and thus it is critical to my job function. In addition to on-the-job training, I have taken two linear algebra courses at university.
I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 2008. In terms of MATLAB programming, it is a software package that I have used extensively since graduating for internal code development, control logic over actuators, advanced 3d surface fitting, and numerical simulations. Writing functions and subfunctions is where most of my capabilities lie. I am also able to integrate C/C++ code into MATLAB language.
I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 2008. While at Purdue I took courses in physics, mathematics, mechanical design, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, control theory, computer programming, materials science, electrical engineering, heat and mass transfer, and a graduate course in gas dynamics. I also spent 3 months working as a research assistant at the CTRC electronics cooling lab.
Physics is by far my favorite and most proficient subject. I scored 5s on both the Classical Mechanics and Electromagnetism AP Physics examinations. The Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering branches are at bottom forms of applied science, and so the basics of physics theory becomes second nature to a working professional. I generally have an intuitive feel for physics problems and can explain the fundamentals very well.
I am very good at explaining most math subjects, and Prealgebra is no exception. Factorization, roots, function evaluation, and variable manipulation are all skills which I am proficient at and can usually explain well.
I am very good at explaining most math subjects, and Precalculus is no exception. Sets, polynomials, trig, conic sections, sequences and vectors are all areas I am familiar with. I am also particularly adept at explaining limits and matrix operations.
Trigonometry is a basic and fundamental of a working engineer's repertoire and is second nature to me. I am very skilled in this area and can offer assistance to those student having difficulties.
