I am a native Korean who was born and grew up in Seoul, S. Korea. I majored in English and English Literature in my undergraduate in S. Korea and acquired my masters in Cultural Studies in England. I came to the US in 2011 following my American husband. My English is very good, native-like, although I have a slight British accent (It has been fading away, though).
I taught English at a public high school in S. Korea for about 4 years and have a lot of experience in cross cultural contexts, including language exchange, mediating between ESL teachers and Korean school authorities. I helped personally many American friends of mine for translating while I was in S. Korea, as well.
I am nice, sincere and try to make people comfortable. I am an efficient teacher as well as a good friend. I personally spent a lot of time teaching my own husband Korean so he could communicate with my family. I am so excited to meet you and explore the interesting world of Korean language together in the most relevant and communication-oriented way.
