AP chemistry, SAT II chemistry, or other chemistry tutoring

Hi,
My name is Julie and I currently teach chemistry for high school students in bay area. I enjoy helping students for AP chemistry, SAT II chemistry and any other school chemistry test preparations.

I hold a B.S. in chemistry and M.S. in biochemistry. Using molecular cloning, I have also conducted research in biochemistry and neuroscience laboratories at UC Riverside and San Diego State University. I have extensive teaching experience in college-level general chemistry, biochemistry and neuroscience from three different universities, as well as experience in tutoring individuals at both the high school and college levels. My goal is to help any student understand, summarize, and prepare for comprehensive chemistry exams in order to obtain a desired result in a relatively short amount of time.

Chemistry

AP chemistry should be as high-level as a general chemistry course in college. In order to guide students, I have notes and worksheets organized by topic on my website. My AP students solve practice questions from previous exams created by CollegeBoard on each topic. AP chemistry is usually an easier course to approach due to the plethora of information available online and the types of questions on the test administered by CollegeBoard.
