chess I began playing chess during my 10 years stay in France as a member of the chess club Bordeaux Echecs and as a member of the French Chess Federation. During my stay in France, I participated in inter club matches and singles tournament. When I moved to the United States, I joined the United States Chess Federation and I played in tournaments such as the Chicago Open, the St Louis Open ear training To Whom it May Concern My name is Avguste Antonov and I am currently finishing the master in piano performance degree at Texas Christin University(this is my last year). Throughout the years I have taught privately(in France),in a school of music(France) and in the Kansas City Missouri School District(Kansas City,Missouri). I have an extensive performance experience in France and in the United States, including concertos performances and performances at national and regional conventions. Performances include works by modern composers(Bolcom,Daugherty,Pann,Mackey,Colgrass and more). In addition to chamber music and accompaniment, I have collaborated with ensembles such as the University of Kansas Wind Ensemble, the University of Kansas Choirs,University of Kansas Symphony, Texas Christian University Wind Symphony. These collaborations provide me with the necessary experience to guide students as solo performers and as collaborative artists. Having been myself a recent student and having participated in non-major studies,I understand a student's academic situation within an university. I understand how to deal with students and how to get the best out of each student.
