I am currently finishing my degree in Elementary Education at Indiana University Kokomo. I already have 150 credit hours related to the education field, and some in the sociology field. I started my college career at Indiana University South Bend, where I was given a basketball scholarship. I played four years of varsity division 1 college basketball, and received a wonderful education. I have had a basketball in my hands since I was 4 years old, which led me to my years of playing ball through Middle school, high school, and onto the college years. I am in love with the sport, and all things related to athletics. I currently coach 7th grade girls basketball at Pendleton Heights Middle School, where we just finished our season with a 13-2 record. I work out 6 days a week, run, lift weights, and compete in any sport I can. I live to be healthy and full of life. I pride myself on being able to communicate with all individuals in a beneficial manner for both parties. I currently am a substitute teacher at 3 different elementary schools. I have lots of experience in the classroom setting, and have helped many students along the way. I love to help people in anyway that I can. Being a student/athlete for most of my life has given me the teaching style that brings about, drive, determination, sincerity, confidence, and success; all of which are instilled into my students. I have tutored family friends and students in surrounding elementary schools. I look forward to meeting and helping many new individuals.
