I have been a tutor for over six years, mainly specializing in math, and science. I have obtained a bachelors degree in Chemistry, and minor in Biomedical Physics. I am highly enthusiastic and dedicated to my work. As a tutor, I have been able to see progress and understanding. I have learned from my students, and grown as an instructor, modifying my teaching strategies to each students needs. I fist started tutoring on a volunteer basis during my High School years, and have continued to do so ever since. I modify my tutoring style depending on the needs of the student. I first like to get familiarized with the student and their struggles. Then, depending on the level that the student is on I decide whether reviewing the school work and homework assignments given is enough to develop an understanding of the subject, or if the need to bring outside material is necessary. I like to emphasize organization and structure so as to make memorizing ideas and understanding the subject more productive.
