  I have taught basic English composition at the high school level as well as college technical writing courses. What I like most about tutoring grammar, specifically, is that there are definite rules to follow which can be taught in a way that is similar to math instruction, my strongest tutoring subject. I have experience working with students from pre-school through adult education. My leadership, rapport building and motivational skills are truly exceptional. I also have a way of making the subject matter at hand much more interesting. These skills are crucial to the teaching of English grammer because some students are less willing to "lean into the wind" in order to master the subject unless they encounter someone who can "bring it to life" for them and lead them effectively.
