About Julia:

Hello! My areas of tutoring are Russian and Music. I am a native speaker of Russian. I grew up in Ukraine and Russia and received my education there. My teaching experience includes teaching Russian and various music subjects on different levels, both privately and in classes. Currently, I am an instructor of Russian at a college and a music teacher at a Russian school. I enjoy teaching in both areas - Russian and music. I am interested in the language acquisition strategies and, in cognition, trying to find out more about the best ways of teaching and learning.

I am a native speaker of Russian. My experience of teaching Russian includes teaching a Russian for Beginners course sequence at a college, teaching independent study courses to advanced and heritage-speakers and, to add some fun, coaching voice students in Russian. In addition, I work at one of the Russian schools in New Jersey, where I help children to master their Russian. I have also performed a number of translating and editing jobs.
