I am a graduate of the Washington University in St. Louis class of 2008 with a double major in French and Physical Anthropology. I have been taking French in one form or another since I was 8, and Spanish since high school (through the advanced grammar and composition level, stopping before literature courses). Advanced French courses include French Translation, Baudelaire, Renaissance Poetry, and Philosophical Fictions of the 18th century. I have been a straight A student in both languages - the only A+ on my college transcript was from Spanish 201. I focus especially on pronunciation when teaching, and have always aided my classmates who had difficulties understanding topics. This will be my first tutoring job, but having trained coworkers at various retail jobs in the past, I trust my communication and people skills to help me excel as a tutor.
