I have nearly fifteen years of experience with theatre. My work includes acting in film, commercials, and onstage, as well as working as a producer, director, writer, designer, crewmember, house manager, usher, box office, and teaching both groups and individual students.
My undergraduate degree is a BFA in Theatre with an emphasis on Directing. I graduated from Texas State University, which has a national reputation as one of the best undergraduate theatre programs available today.
I have worked as an intern for Cheeky Maggot Productions in London, England where I was involved in production for two musicals, one of which showed Off West End, and the other, which had its' world premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In addition to those two shows, I also assisted with the writing programs at The Hampstead Theatre.
Other work experience includes (but is not limited to) acting as an independent contractor for the Austin Independent School District, teaching an after-school drama club for grades six through eight; Working for the publicity and house management teams for the Texas State University Theatre; and last, but certainly not least, acting as an assistant to the Director of Dripping Talent Productions, a Texas Nonprofit devoted to Musical Theatre.
