History is the most important subject. Most often people only learn what happened not how it affects us today. For example Gitmo in Cuba. Be for it, be against it but by golly know the history of it. During the Civil War there was a Confederate sympathizer by the name of John Merriman who was captured and imprisoned without due process. He obtained a Lawyer who petitioned the Supreme Court for the right to a trial, which was ruled in his favor. President Abraham Lincoln on the other hand said that he would not allow him a trial despite the Supreme Court. Now there is a precedent for this set by President Andrew Jackson of over ruling the Supreme Court in Worcestor vs Georgia. The question now remains does the presidnt have the right to ignore decisions of the Supreme Court. Physics to often misunderstood of being only for rocket scientists, unfortunately when I was studying it in college no other student knew the difference between speed and velocity or weight and mass in the mean time I was instructing the class on planks attempt to finding the "speed of Light" Math I do have experience in tutoring. Unfortunately I was given someone who had a 5th grade math level but needed help with the SAT's. I thought we hit a low when she didn't know how to convert 3/4 to a decimal. I know my math, but I am not a Magician. I have more subjects but was only limited to 10.
