I have several years of classroom experience working in three different school districts in the Hampton Roads area with Special Education students at the Middle and High School levels. I am patient, detail oriented, and resourceful with a passion to see out young people succeed academically. As a seasoned educator I believe that every child can be encouraged and assisted to reach his/her full potential. I tutor in compliance with the school's curriculum and IEP goals and objectives where necessary. During my many years of classroom teaching and one on one tutoring, I have always taught English Grammar as a certified professional with astounding results. Good Grammar coupled with a thoughtful plot is what gives competent writers their edge in Essays, Composition, Short Stories, and even Letter Writing. I believe in teaching Grammar because it is the main ingredient that gives the English language its form and structure, and it certainly allows that thoughtful young writer to earn and keep his/her "A" grade. I'd say if you have to write or speak English, it is extremely important to get your Grammar correct. That task I can certainly help you with.
