I am a professional concert pianist with over fifteen years of teaching experience. Many of my students have gone on to colleges and universities and many have won major awards at music competitions and festivals.
Not only will you learn how to play the piano, but you will also learn how to listen to and understand music, as well as to be the best sight-reader you can be! After only a short while you will be able to pick up almost any score or piece of music and will be able to read, play or sing it at sight.
I hold a Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Music Degrees from the Manhattan School of Music, both in Piano Performance. I have performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and guest soloist with orchestras, taught and given masterclasses in many countries around the world. Most recently, I was an adjudicator at the Hong Kong Schools Piano Competition. I also serve as the Program Director of the Tchaikovsky Summer School in Cambridge, MA.
