I was born in Seoul, Korea. At the age of 2 we moved to Tokyo, Japan, where my Father was station at the American Embassy.
I started studying Japanese Language on my own at the age of 10. My first formal classes in Japanese were at Western Michigan University, where I was a linguistics major.
After two years I transfer to Arizona State University, where my major was switched to Japanese language. In my senior year I was an exchange student between Arizona State University and Kansai University of Foreign Study in Osaka, Japan.
After Graduating from Arizona State University, I moved to Las Vegas and joined Yahiro Tour Services. At Yahiro Tours I set up and conducted tour around Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon for Japanese customers of companies such at JAL, Kintetsu, JTB.
Currently, I am departmental information specialist for Sedgwick County.
