I am a 20 year old female that is attending Ozarks Technical Community College. I graduated from Republic High School in 2006 with a 3.87 gpa. My favorite subjects are Math and English. My favorite hobby is photography. I am taking business classes at OTC because I was hoping to soon start my own photography studio. I am very professional but also down to earth. I am very passionate with kids and love teaching. Before I started in photography, I wanted to become a fifth grade teacher. In highschool, I tutored fifth grade through the A+ Program and enjoyed it a lot. Although I only tutored fifth grade, I believe I am adequate in certain areas to teach up to 12th grade. Here are the areas and experience I have in each:

Math: Basic-Calculus, completed half semester of Calculus with an A, and all other lower maths with an A also

English: Basic-English III, A in each class


Microsoft, Excel, Powerpoint: I have been working with computers my whole life, I received a 100% on my college final in Microsoft computer applications

Volleyball: I played volleyball since I was 8 years old, played through middle school and part of highschool. Know all the basics and competed in Junior Varsity tournaments while I was a freshman in high school ( In a large Kansas City school )

Photography: I have been taking pictures for 6 years now, also have experience in digital editing. I do senior pictures and family pictures for all my friends and co-workers


As far as my tutoring/teaching techniques, I am motivated for kids to learn but I do it in a stress-free way. I do not believe children should have stress in their childhood. I know I will be a positive influence on anyone I tutor, and also be there for them to look up to when they need help or someone to talk to

• powerpoint

  Powerpoint is a very confident subject for me. I have been in charge of creating all powerpoints for my business classes. I received a 100% on my college microsoft computer applications class which consisted of 30% powerpoint. I know not only how to do simple powerpoints, but also complex, professional ones as well. Anything from design backgrounds and templates to uploading pictures, charts, diagrams, and transitions; I know how to do it all. I would be willing to put together a sample powerpoint as well.

• volleyball

  Volleyball has been my favorite sport since I was 6 years old. I have been playing my whole life ( I'm now 20 ). I played for school and tournaments as well as church (We had open gym every week). I competed on Junior Varsity while I was still a freshman at a large school in Kansas City. I was always team captain each year. I was chosen for "best server and best setter" on my team. I know all the basic rules and was chosen to train freshmen and 8th grade.
