In my teaching experience, I've found that I have the ability to make complicated things seem easy. Although a bit demanding at times, my students almost always have fun while working with me and seem to learn without even trying. I hope to affect the lives of the students I teach in the future in a positive way, much as I have for the students I've taught and worked with in the past. |

I have practiced and studied the art of music composition since 1993. Over the years I have drastically improved my skills and ability to write well-formed music that is both catchy and easy and fun to listen to. One of my major strengths as a composer is setting words to music. I am not only well experienced at this, but am able to pass on the knowledge I've acquired to aspiring song writers who wish to learn how to do this as well. As a composer, I am familiar with reading and writing music, music theory, counterpoint, music history, musical forms, and piano.

I have taught piano privately since 2005 to beginners and intermediate level students. As a pianist, I have approximately 10 years of experience. I am very familiar with the proper techniques of playing as well as reading and interpretation. I have had several students over the years and have very much enjoyed seeing them improve their musical skills and appreciation of classical music.
