About Krispin:

I am a graduate student at Georgia State's Robinson School of Business. I received a BA in International Economics, a calculus based program, and have both academic and working history with engineering and chemistry. My current "day job" is as a Lab Chemist and Marketing Manager for a small company in Lumpkin County

As a high school student, I had trouble with math, but loved science. I managed to make it through the math, and in college I had some great professors that really helped out by teaching me the concepts, and not just the mechanics. I became a great student, and now I am in graduate school. The pain I went through and the lessons I learned can help with your studies. I know how hard it is, and I can teach you some basic math skills that will help you no matter how far you want to go with your math and science studies.

My goal is take the anxiety out of math and science. Understanding the basics of science is integral to our modern society and there is no need to be afraid of it. I will help you understand these difficult subjects through real world examples that are relevant to you, the student, and not a professor writing a textbook. I will also focus on the fundamentals and concepts, something teachers assume you already have mastered, and often the major problem with not understanding a subject.

So, while math and science may never be fun to some students, it can be a lot less painful. Who knows you might even start to enjoy it!

I have a BA in International Economics. The program that I completed was math based, using derivitives in intermediate micro & macro as well as matrix algebra in advanced micro & macro. I also completed one econometrics class focusing on modeling with basic regressions and statistics. Other than my international business and economics courses, I also completed urban economics.
